How to Dress Like Stevie Ray Vaughan
Stevie Ray Vaughan’s career was shaped very differently to what you would expect from a modern pop icon. He didn’t have a stylist telling him what he should wear, or a musical advisor telling him how he should play. Even though there’s no planned choreography during his shows, Stevie Ray Vaughan had a very distinctive and flamboyant style, including Stetson hats, loud shirts, soft suede boots and his signature guitar strap. His very first musical expression was thanks to his wardrobe – a drum kit he put together from old shoe boxes with clothing hangers as drum sticks.
